May the 4th (and 3rd!) Be With You! Join us on May 3rd for a special Lightsaber Walk to honor and celebrate the life of Mason Owens. Mason was a bright and passionate person, who brought joy to everyone around him. His love for Star Wars and the galaxy far, far away inspired this event, where we’ll come together as a community to remember his spirit, courage, and kindness.

EVENT DETAILS

Registration:

$30 Registration in advance includes one lightsaber and two raffle entries. $35 registration at the event.

Students of Trumansburg Central schools do not require registration. in addition Anyone who wishes to come, can “pay what you can” Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay.

Food & Fun:

Food from will be available to purchase. Bake sale, Ice cream, music and raffle/auction, face painting, and shirt sales will happen before the walk.

Walk Route:

Starting at Trumansburg High School, heading up Route 96, turning left on Elm Street, and ending back at the starting point.

SCHEDULE

6:00 PM:

Check-in & registration with lightsaber distribution, food, music & raffles.

7:30 PM:

Auctions and raffles close; prepare for the walk.

8:00 PM:

Lightsaber walk begins (sunset at 8:10 PM).

8:20-8:30 PM:

Return to the starting point.
